Leg Club
Leg Club for Royal Manor Patients is dedicated to offering lower limb care within a social environment, where patients receive collective treatment, and the primary focus lies on fostering social interaction, active participation, empathy, and mutual support among peers. These clubs also actively promote positive health beliefs.
The club offers a social setting for managing leg ulcers, providing guidance and treatment for lower leg issues. These sessions are held on Thursday mornings from 8:30 - 11:30 at Island Leg Club, Community 2000 Hall, Easton, and appointments are not required.
You're welcome to join us for a cup of tea or coffee, some cake, and a friendly chat. Our nurses provide collective care to members, with a strong focus on fostering social interactions to help alleviate isolation and loneliness. Our Care Coordinators can also offer social support and other types of support for unpaid carers.
It is also important to note that this is only available for Royal Manor patients.
